At one point I had to for a variety of reasons move 3 times in a year. My best advice is to mark up like crazy (with colorful duct tape or markers) a LOAD LAST box. Inside put a roll of TP, toiletries, all of your papers, checkbook, a set of dishes and cutlery for each person, a flashlight, set of sheets, roll of paper towels etc to get you through that first day when you don’t know where anything is. If you haven’t moved a lot this will be a lifesaver. This then becomes the last box you load into your car and the first one out of the car at your new destination. Major life hack. Hope the move goes well.
Transition. My youngest moves from middle school to high school and my daughter in law graduates from medical school and starts her residency in radiology, and my sister (finally) finishes chemo for breast cancer. Things are always moving along and changing.
Fun in the sun! Las Vegas in June and Maui in July. Have visited both before (Las Vegas many times). Looking forward to seeing both familiar and new sights. And shopping at quilt stores, of course.
Moving!

It will be the Summer of Tidying Up. Purging the old to make space for whatever may come my way.

Wedding planning. My daughter is getting married in the fall. I’m making her gown and am about half done.

The summer of JOY. My daughter is getting married and my son and DIL are having a baby. And if that’s not joy, I don’t know what is.
