Pushing the Nut Along
That thing that’s been bugging you for months. Yeah, that thing. I read once that the stress that causes heart attacks is not the loved one dying, getting divorced stuff but rather the endless list of things that hang over us. So that thing that’s bugging you: what if you didn’t have to figure out the whole thing today but just did a part of it? What if you just pushed the nut along a bit. What if you spent 10 minutes dealing with it? Just enough to feel a sense of progress. I’m in. Are you?
I find ‘one thing at a time’ works best for me. Cross one off the ‘to do’ list (whatever it may be) and make myself do the next. But not all at once.
That seemingly endless ‘to-do’ list has been keeping me up at night…I’m in!
